Advanced Heat Treatment Solutions

The most critical stage in determining a part's lifespan is the heat treatment process, where the metal's character is defined.

Surface Hardness and Core Toughness: Through the specialized heat treatment cycles applied at Akkom, we bring the part's outer surface to diamond-level hardness against wear, while keeping its internal structure tough and flexible against impact.

Atmosphere-Controlled Furnaces: In our furnaces, which prevent oxidation and ensure uniform hardness distribution, we apply specific "recipes" tailored to each part group.

Precision Grinding and Friction Management

For parts operating at high speed and under high pressure, surface smoothness is critical.

Super-Finished Surfaces: In our grinding department, we achieve mirror-finish surface quality (Ra values) that minimizes the friction coefficient of parts, preventing overheating and premature wear.
