Our Engineering and Design department is Akkom's brain center — one that takes "original equipment manufacturer" (OEM) standards as its baseline and optimizes them further using field data.

Advanced Reverse Engineering

We transfer hydraulic breaker and rock drill spare parts with complex geometries and tight tolerance values into the digital world using the most advanced measurement technologies.

3D Optical Scanning: We create micron-level digital twins of even the most complex parts, and carry out wear and deformation analyses based on this data.

Metallurgical Analysis via Spectrometry: We analyze the part not only dimensionally but also at the atomic level. Through chemical composition analysis, we determine the alloy best suited to the rock hardness and impact frequency the part will encounter in operation.

CAD/CAM and Digital Simulation Applications

We work on a "zero defect" principle, reducing the gap between design and production to zero.

Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

We simulate the stress, vibration, and heat values that the parts we design will be exposed to during operation. This allows us to reinforce a part's weakest point before it ever goes into production.

Optimized CAM Codes
